Cathay Pacific’s Digital & Information Technology team seeks a Senior Solution Lead for Cathay Cargo Terminal, focused on delivering enterprise IT solutions across subsidiaries. You will drive roadmaps, lead large-scale initiatives and collaborate with vendors, developers and business stakeholders in a complex, global setting.

The role emphasizes solution design, end-to-end delivery and innovation, with strong leadership and bilingual English/Chinese communication as essential requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology or related discipline, Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of IT experience across software development, system analysis, business analysis, solution definition and system testing.
• Solid software development capability and proven experience managing software development teams.
• Knowledge of database and Warehouse Operating System (WOS) is an added advantage.
• Experience supporting 24/7 operational business environments is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to drive technical innovation and continuous improvement.
• Experience working with outsourced and globally distributed teams.
• Corporate project and support experience is highly advantageous.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese.

Responsabilités

• Provide pre-project consulting and partner with business stakeholders to understand priorities, challenges and requirements.
• Co-create and maintain product and solution roadmaps aligned with business vision and organisational goals.
• Lead the design, planning, development and delivery of IT products and applications for medium to large scale initiatives.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, architects and vendors to define robust, scalable and secure technical solutions.
• Facilitate solution design walkthroughs to validate alignment with business needs and IT architecture.
• Drive end-to-end project delivery including planning, execution, testing, governance and risk mitigation.
• Act as an escalation point to resolve complex solution, delivery or stakeholder issues effectively.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
• Manage team resources and external partners to ensure timely and high-quality delivery outcomes.
• Coach, mentor and provide direction to solution analysts and team members to build strong delivery capability.
