Job summary

ICBC (Asia) is seeking a Public Sector Relationship Manager in Hong Kong to grow the bank's presence with government, NGO and supranational clients. You will oversee a portfolio, perform credit assessments, KYC/AML checks, and open accounts while collaborating with product partners to tailor banking solutions.

Applicants should have client-facing experience, strong communication skills, and fluency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese. HKSI papers 1, 7, 8 are highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferably in Business, Finance, or related disciplines.
• Experience in client facing environment, relationship management experience is preferred.
• Familiar with banking products and general knowledge of financial market.
• Qualifications of HKSI paper 1, 7 and 8 is highly preferred.
• A great team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to work independently under pressure.
• Proficient in written and spoken English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.

Responsibilities

• Proactively grow Public Sector businesses in both overseas and local markets, strive to increase the bank's market share in target segment;
• Manage and expand a portfolio of institutional clients including but not limited to government, quasi-government, NGO, and supranational organizations;
• Connect and create synergies with product partners, to identify clients' business needs and cross-sell our full fledged banking services;
• Perform daily tasks includes credit assessment, regular KYC and AML checks, account opening, and various reporting tasks.
