Job summary

Bank of China (Hong Kong) is seeking a Relationship Manager to develop and manage a portfolio of non-banking financial institutions including insurance, principal investment, and sovereign entities. The role focuses on prospecting new clients, delivering suitable banking solutions, and supporting KYC and onboarding processes.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of corporate banking and treasury products, and excellent English and Chinese communication

Qualifications

• Degree or above in Business Administration, Finance or related disciplines.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in the designated business segment.
• Good knowledge of corporate banking and treasury products and services.
• Familiar with the general banking operations and its legal and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge in financial analysis / credit analysis.
• Sound interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Candidates with 5+ years of relevant experience could be considered for Senior Relationship Manager.

Responsibilities

• Develop and serve a portfolio of accounts in the non-banking segment of Financial Institutions (Insurance, Principal Investment, Sovereign).
• Develop the portfolio by prospecting potential clients in the market and offering suitable banking services to existing customers.
• Assist in KYC and client onboarding process.
• Prepare credit proposals in accordance with delegated authority.
• Prepare various reports for management review.
