Job summary

Hitachi Rail Limited in Hong Kong seeks a senior procurement specialist to lead project procurement for bids and projects. You will manage budgets, drive cost savings, and ensure processes align with group policies while collaborating with engineering and project teams.

The role requires deep procurement and supply chain knowledge for electronics, experience with SAP byDesign, and the ability to influence stakeholders in a matrix setup within transport projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electronic, Electrical Engineering or SCM.
• 7–10 years' experience in a project-driven company, preferably in transportation/security domains.
• Strong knowledge of procurement and SCM processes, tools, cost drivers.
• Familiar with project management process, WBS and matrix organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide procurement expertise for hardware manufacturing activities related to Bids/Projects.
• Implement internal procurement policies to support Bids/Projects and provide engineering support.
• Coordinate between Engineering/Bid/Project teams and ensure reporting consistency.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Supply Chain for logistics and schedules.
