Job summary

MTC Consulting Pte. Ltd. is seeking a capable Civil Engineer to manage on-site civil activities for MRT/railway projects in Ang Mo Kio. The role requires coordinating with consultants, contractors and suppliers to ensure timely, compliant delivery of technical works.

You will review drawings, method statements and submissions, liaise with authorities, and help in planning and overall project delivery. Competitive salary and AWS/bonus accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Experience on MRT/railway/tunnelling civil projects with A1 main contractors preferred.
• Strong PM, leadership and problem-solving skills; good communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily engineering and technical activities on site.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Review and coordinate construction drawings, method statements, shop drawings, and technical submissions.
• Liaise with consultants and relevant authorities on technical, design, and site matters.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and discrepancies encountered during construction.
• Prepare and review RFIs, technical reports, progress updates, and other project documentation.
• Coordinate construction activities and assist in resolving site and technical issues.
• Assist the Project Manager in project planning, coordination, and overall project delivery.
