Job summary

ST Engineering Urban Solutions in Hong Kong is seeking a site installation supervisor to lead and coordinate large-scale electrical and mechanical installations for railway-related projects. The role involves night shifts, extensive field leadership, and collaboration with contractors and clients.

You will prepare installation drawings, supervise installation works, ensure safety and quality, and report progress regularly.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma/NITEC or equivalent in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering.
• 1-5 years experience leading a team of site engineers and sub-contractors’ skilled workers in large-scale electronics, electrical & mechanical installation.
• Work experience in large scale projects preferred.
• Willing and able to work at night for brown field projects.
• Installation experience in railway industry preferred.
• Use of AutoCAD or BIM advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare installation cable route drawings for submission and implementation across subsystems (COMMS, ISCS, FCIS, MMS, SIG, PSD, AFC).
• Coordinate with Civil Wide Contractors and System Wide Contractors.
• Supervise a team of installation sub-contractors in cable support, cabling, equipment installation and termination; produce progress reports and as-built drawings.
• Manage work progress to meet schedule, budget, and quality standards; ensure compliance with MOM safety regulations.
• Maintain daily manpower reporting and attend weekly/bi-weekly progress meetings with LTA.
• Carry out site inspections & handover inspections with client.

• Prepare installation cable route drawing for submission and implementation for the following subsystems:

• Integrated Communications System (COMMS)

• Integrated Supervisory Control System (ISCS)

• Facility for Commercial Info-Communication Services (FCIS)

• Maintenance Management System (MMS)

• Signalling System (SIG)

• Platform Screen Doors (PSD)

• Automated Fair Collection System (AFC)

• Carry out installation design and supervision of site installation works to meet authorities & customer’s requirements.

• To coordinate with Civil Wide Contractors and System Wide Contractors

• Supervise a team of installation sub-contractor in carrying out cable support system installation, cable laying & testing, equipment installation & termination, progress report and update as-built drawings.

• Manage & Control of work progress and ensure installation works are completed within schedule, meet budget, meet quality standard and comply with MOM safety regulations.

• Daily Manpower Reporting & Attend Weekly / Bi-weekly progress meeting with LTA.

• Carry out site inspection & handover inspection with client.

Job Requirement:
