Job summary

The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers is seeking a seasoned Programme and Events Manager to plan, coordinate and manage its activities, programmes and community engagement initiatives, including President's initiatives and major anniversary events. You will develop and execute project plans, timelines and budgets to ensure successful delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• At least 6 years' experience in programme planning or event management.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale events with multi-stakeholder projects.
• Excellent written and spoken Chinese and English.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage the Institution's activities, programmes and community engagement initiatives.
• Develop and execute project plans, timelines and budgets for programmes and events.
• Manage project budgets, procurement and expenditure in line with policies.
• Collaborate with internal committees, government departments, partners, schools and vendors to implement programmes.
• Provide secretarial support to relevant committees and working groups.
• Undertake ad hoc assignments and Institutional initiatives as required.
