WPP Media Limited in Hong Kong seeks a proactive Senior Associate, Payroll to execute end-to-end payroll and tax filings, ensuring regulatory compliance and data accuracy. You will partner with an external payroll vendor to ensure precise processing and timely disbursement.

Responsibilities include onboarding, contracts, leave administration, and maintaining payroll records while driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of dedicated payroll experience in a sizable corporate environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the HK Employment Ordinance, MPF regulations, and local statutory labor compliance.
• Strong numerical accuracy and advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally across teams.
• Highly detailed and organized, with a proven track record of delivering accurately under tight deadlines.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Cantonese; proficiency in Mandarin preferred.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Payroll Execution: Full-cycle processing from calculation to disbursement, coordinating with external payroll vendor for accuracy.
• Tax Returns & Compliance: Prepare, file, and reconcile payroll-related tax returns according to local regulations.
• HR Operations & Lifecycle Administration: Manage pre-onboarding, onboarding, employment contracts, employee movements, and leave system admin.
• Data & Records Management: Maintain payroll databases, employee records, audit trails, and reporting.
• Process Optimization: Drive enhancements, automate workflows, and improve payroll services.
• Ad-Hoc Support: Assist with special projects and additional tasks as directed by leadership.
