Job summary

Selby Jennings in Hong Kong seeks a highly motivated Derivatives Trader to join our Derivatives Trading Department. The role focuses on OTC derivatives, structured products, or yield-enhancement products to drive trading, risk management, and product innovation across onshore and offshore markets.

You will manage day-to-day trading, price and execute, develop strategies, perform stress tests, and collaborate with Risk Management and Compliance to ensure controls.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or above in a quantitative discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of derivatives trading experience.
• Experience with OTC derivatives, structured products or yield certificates.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day trading of OTC derivatives and structured products, including pricing, execution and risk analysis.
• Develop and enhance trading strategies to optimize risk-adjusted returns.
• Conduct stress testing and risk assessments in collaboration with Risk Management and Compliance.
• Monitor markets and regulatory developments affecting derivatives businesses.
• Support structuring, pricing and execution of onshore and offshore derivatives transactions.
• Identify opportunities to expand the firm's derivatives product offering.
