Job summary

Protalent Advisors in Hong Kong seeks an experienced OTC Derivatives Trader to lead trade execution, risk monitoring, and counterparty relationships. You will supervise a trading team, ensure compliance, and coordinate with settlement and operations.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Finance or Economics, 8+ years in OTC derivatives trading within private banking or large institutions, SFC licenses, and strong ISDA/CSA knowledge. Fluency in English and Chinese is preferred; CFA or FRM is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 8+ years of OTC derivatives trading experience in private banking or large institutions.
• SFC licenses with solid knowledge of ISDA/CSA agreements and OTC trade lifecycle.
• Proven track record in risk monitoring and trade execution.
• Fluent in English and Chinese; CFA or FRM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute trades for equities, options, ELNs, and FCNs in line with internal strategies.
• Monitor intraday risk exposures, conduct hedging, and track P&L.
• Maintain strong relationships with global investment banks and financial institutions under ISDA/CSA agreements.
• Oversee credit assessments, risk limits, and collateral management.
• Supervise trading team activities, ensuring compliance with SFC, KYC, and AML standards.
• Coordinate with settlement team for trade confirmations.
