Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is seeking a seasoned Electrical Engineer to operate, monitor, and maintain critical data centre power systems in Hong Kong. You will manage HV/LV switchgear, UPS, and generators, ensuring uptime and safety.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years in data centres, and REW B0/C0 certification. You will work with BMS/DCIM tools and support CAPEX projects, contributing to reliability and sustainability.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in data centre or critical facility electrical systems.
REW B0 / C0 certification is required.
In-depth knowledge of UPS, backup generators, switchgear, and power distribution architectures.
Familiarity with BMS / DCIM tools and electrical safety standards.
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work in a high-availability environment.

Responsibilities

Operate, monitor, and maintain critical electrical systems including HV/LV switchgear, UPS, and generators.
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to maximize system uptime and redundancy.
Respond swiftly to electrical faults and alarms with root cause analysis and resolution.
Support commissioning upgrades and CAPEX projects for infrastructure scalability.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols, regulations, and SLAs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize energy use and sustainability goals.
