Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is seeking a seasoned Electrical Engineer to operate, monitor, and maintain critical data centre power systems in Hong Kong. You will manage HV/LV switchgear, UPS, and generators, ensuring uptime and safety.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years in data centres, and REW B0/C0 certification. You will work with BMS/DCIM tools and support CAPEX projects, contributing to reliability and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in data centre or critical facility electrical systems.
• REW B0 / C0 certification is required.
• In-depth knowledge of UPS, backup generators, switchgear, and power distribution architectures.
• Familiarity with BMS / DCIM tools and electrical safety standards.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work in a high-availability environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain critical electrical systems including HV/LV switchgear, UPS, and generators.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to maximize system uptime and redundancy.
• Respond swiftly to electrical faults and alarms with root cause analysis and resolution.
• Support commissioning upgrades and CAPEX projects for infrastructure scalability.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, regulations, and SLAs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize energy use and sustainability goals.
