Job summary

CBRE Limited Kowloon, HK seeks a Data Centre Facilities Engineer to support critical data centre infrastructure projects and ongoing operations across the client’s data hall environment. The role involves coordinating with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful project execution and operational readiness.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in mission-critical facilities, with hands-on experience in UPS, generators, cooling, BMS and end-to-end data centre upgrades.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in mission-critical facilities such as data centres, trading floors, financial institutions or other 24/7 environments.
• Experience supporting end-to-end data centre projects, including design, construction, fit-out, commissioning or infrastructure upgrades.
• Familiarity with critical MEP systems, including UPS, generators, switchgear, cooling systems, power distribution and BMS.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of internal data hall build-outs, infrastructure upgrades and expansion projects.
• Coordinate with internal engineering, IT and operations teams to ensure successful project execution and operational readiness.
• Work closely with contractors, consultants, vendors and colocation providers across project and operational activities.
• Oversee critical facility infrastructure, including power, cooling and building management systems.
• Participate in design reviews, commissioning activities and technical assessments for new infrastructure deployments.
• Support maintenance planning, capacity management and continuous improvement initiatives within mission-critical environments.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving facility-related issues to maintain high levels of reliability and uptime.

Strong understanding of critical MEP systems, including UPS, generators, switchgear, cooling systems, power distribution and BMS.

Comfortable to work on weekend or night due to operation and project needs.

Willing to travel to oversea due to business needs.

Familiarity with data centre operations, maintenance practices and operational risk management.

Experience working with external contractors, consultants and service providers.
