Job summary

BDO Limited in Hong Kong seeks an experienced Accountant to manage a full set of accounts including AR, AP and bank reconciliations. The role covers daily accounting operations, staff expense reimbursements, monthly schedules, and reports, with involvement in month-end closings and annual audits.

You will collaborate with other departments to ensure timely, accurate financial data and help implement robust accounting controls and process improvements in line with the firm’s standards.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• At least 5 years of accounting experience.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin).
• Immediate availability is highly preferred.
• Proficient in MS Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts, including AR, AP, and bank reconciliations.

• Prepare monthly schedules and generate reports.
• Assist in month-end closings and annual audit.

• Assist in finance-related projects focused on process improvement and operational efficiency.
• Perform other duties and ad-hoc assignments as assigned.

What you'll bring

Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, or other relevant discipline

At least 5 years of experience in accounting

Excellent analytical and problems-solving abilities, self-driven, and able to work effectively under pressure

Excellent working knowledge in using MS Excel and Word

Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin)

Immediate available is highly preferred
