Job summary

• Assist budgeting, cash flow monitoring, forecasting and annual audits.
• Handle statutory and regulatory reports including SFC FRR and other submissions.
• Participate in process improvement and finance transformation projects.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, auditors, regulators and external service providers.

Job description

This role supports financial operations by maintaining accurate records, assisting with review processes, reporting and compliance, and contributing to budgeting and analysis activities.

Perform full-set accounting functions, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), fixed assets, and bank reconciliations, bank deposits and tax filings

Handle month-end and year-end closing, management accounts, financial reports, and analysis

Assist in budgeting, cash flow monitoring, forecasting, and annual audits

Handle statutory and regulatory reports, including SFC Financial Resources Rules (FRR) returns and other regulatory submissions

Participate in process improvement, system enhancement, and finance transformation projects

Liaise with internal stakeholders, auditors, regulators, and external service providers

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree holder in Accounting

Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) finalist is preferred

Experience in SFC-regulated financial services (e.g. MPF, asset management, insurance brokerage) and related accounting practices is preferred

Proficiency in accounting systems and related experience in SunSystems is preferred

Proficiency in MS Office with advanced level in Excel

Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese

Remuneration will be commensurate with qualification and experience.
