Job summary

Jebsen Consumer Products Company Limited is seeking a seasoned Category Manager to drive product assortment, inventory, and promotional strategies to boost sales and growth in the consumer goods sector.

You will monitor performance, conduct commercial analysis, coordinate with suppliers and principals, and provide market insights to optimise category performance and product availability; English and Chinese communication required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with minimum 5 years of experience in category management within the consumer goods industry.
• Experience in pet industry/FMCG is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English and Chinese.
• Proficient in data analysis and interpretation of complex data.
• Candidates with less experience may be considered for the Merchandiser role.

Responsibilities

• Support product assortment development while ensuring compliance with company merchandise strategy.
• Track sales and inventory performance and recommend replenishment or product strategies.
• Perform analyses and prepare business reports such as costing analysis, inventory productivity and supplier performance.
• Coordinate with suppliers or principals on promotional support and propose seasonal/annual promotion plan.
• Coordinate with suppliers and principals to ensure product information accuracy, display execution, and promotional readiness.
• Provide insights on market trends, consumer needs, and competitive landscape.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements
