Job summary

Job description

Responsibilities

• Assist in establishing and enhancing business relationships with customers through the provision of quality customer service to maximize business growth
• Understand customers’ expectations regarding sample requirements and translate them to production technicians
• Involve in the product development process to ensure products meet customers’ quality and budget requirements
• Communicate with the design team on a day‑to‑day basis for product development and address corresponding issues on mass production
• Provide solutions and support to ensure smooth production and manufacturing processes
• Research and analyze market trends of yarn and fabric
• Source and negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive prices, deals and terms
• Monitor supplier performance and bulk fabric quality under standard control
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Clothing, Textile Merchandising or related discipline (preferred)
• Minimum five years of relevant experience, preferably in the EU and US markets
• Strong product and material knowledge, and familiarity with merchandising and product development processes
• Independent, able to work under pressure, result‑oriented, with excellent communication skills, self‑motivated, responsive and detail‑oriented
• Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
• Literate in Microsoft Office programs
• Occasional travel may be required
