Job summary

DFI Retail Group in Hong Kong seeks an experienced Merchandising Manager to lead category strategies, pricing, and promotions across designated categories. You will drive category penetration, maximize margin, and build strong vendor partnerships.

You will also analyze market trends, plan stock and promotions, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver customer-focused merchandising plans. English and Chinese communication skills required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years retail merchandising experience.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Implement merchandise, buying and pricing strategies for designated categories to boost penetration, sales and margin.
• Execute and evaluate merchandising activities and category plans.
• Build and manage vendor relationships for long-term partnerships.
• Maintain healthy stock levels through promotions and stock management.
• Source locally or overseas with strong market trend understanding.

Do you have experience in merchandising?

• University graduate or tertiary education
• Minimum 6 years retail merchandising experience
• Good influencing and negotiation skill
• Analytical, creative, customer focused, open to change, well planned and self-motivated
• Good interpersonal and people management skill
• Good communication skill and good command of English and Chinese
