Job summary

GP Technologies Limited is seeking a Merchandiser to manage orders from quotation through delivery, collaborating with buyers, customers and vendors to negotiate prices, quantities, product design and timelines. You will liaise with internal overseas offices to meet customer expectations and procurement requirements, and ensure shipment timeliness.

The role requires non-degree or above, 1 year or more in merchandising or related fields, strong communication in English and Chinese, and

Responsibilities

Job description

As a Merchandiser, you will manage orders from quotation through to delivery, collaborating with buyers, customers and vendors to negotiate prices, quantities, product design and timelines. You will liaise with internal overseas offices to ensure customer expectations and procurement requirements are fulfilled, ensure shipment timeliness, attend exhibitions and conventions worldwide, and perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Key responsibilities

Follow up orders from quotation, order placement, issuing invoices to arrange payment, service and communication for delivery (shipment)

Collaborate with buyers, customers and vendors to negotiate prices, quantities, product design/feature, sample approval and timeline

Liaise with internal overseas office (Design/Art/Marketing & Sales) to ensure customers' expectations and procurement requirements are fulfilled

Ensure shipment timeliness with shipping colleagues

Attend exhibitions and conventions worldwide

Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned

About you

Non-Degree Tertiary or above

1 year or above of relevant working experience in Merchandising/Global Business/Electronic Consumers Business

Self-motivated, driven, fast learner, able to handle multi-tasks/projects and meet tight deadlines, eager to learn new technologies

Strong problem-solving capabilities; able to work independently

Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Able to handle multi-tasks and work under pressure in a fast-moving environment

Good communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)

Willing to travel when necessary
