Job summary

Venture Corporation Limited seeks a Senior Engineer, R&D (Mechanical) to lead end-to-end development of mechanical parts and electro-mechanical subsystems in Singapore. You will perform structural, thermal, and CFD analyses, and drive DFSS/DFMA methods to optimize performance, cost and manufacturability.

The role requires 10+ years in R&D/NPD, proficiency in SolidWorks, and hands-on experience with fabrication, testing, and supplier collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering/Mechatronics.
• >10 years of R&D and new product development experience.
• Proficient in CAD tools such as SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of manufacturing methods and product industrialization.
• GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis knowledge.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Willingness to travel overseas.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development of mechanical parts, electromechanical subsystems, and fluidic/pneumatic mechanisms.
• Perform structural analysis (FEA), thermal and CFD simulations, and DFMEA.
• Coordinate fabrication, assembly, and evaluation builds for prototypes.
• Apply DFSS and DFMA to optimize production costs.
• Prepare technical specifications, BOM, and 2D/3D drawings.
• Lead technical discussions with customers and support manufacturing teams.
• Collaborate with global suppliers and drive technology roadmaps.
• Provide updates on design changes and approvals to clients.
