Job summary

Senior Application Engineer (Semiconductor Equipment) in Singapore leads the setup, testing and calibration of advanced semiconductor machinery, ensuring customer specifications are met. You will analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and drive improvements across processes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in semiconductor process engineering.
• Experience in machine testing, troubleshooting and process improvement; familiarity with DOE.

Our Client is a renowned organization in the semiconductor industry with a strong presence worldwide. They are looking for a Senior Application Engineer (Semiconductor Equipment) as part of their expansion plans in Singapore, reporting to the Head of Department.

THE ROLE

The Senior Application Engineer (Semiconductor Equipment) is responsible for:

• Develop and improve machine process settings to meet customer requirements.
• Set up, test, calibrate, and troubleshoot semiconductor equipment.
• Analyze test results and recommend solutions to improve performance and quality.
• Support customer machine evaluations, qualifications, and buyoff activities.
• Train team members on new processes, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Engineering, or related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in process engineering within the semiconductor industry.
• Experience in machine testing, troubleshooting, and process improvement.
• Knowledge of DOE (Design of Experiments) and data analysis techniques.
• Good communication skills and willingness to travel internationally when required.
