Job summary

Venture Corporation Limited, headquartered in Singapore, seeks a Senior Engineer, Supplier Quality for our Ang Mo Kio HQ. The role focuses on ensuring incoming quality of purchased components and leading supplier quality initiatives.

You will collaborate with suppliers on quality improvements, manage FAI approvals, and drive LEAN and QMS-related activities across the global supply base. Travel between AMK and Jurong is required.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience as SQE or IQC engineer in manufacturing environment.
• Familiar with PCB, plastic injection molding, metal stamping, casting & electronic parts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure incoming quality of purchased components and manage supplier quality issues.
• Lead IQC inspection team and develop IQC procedures and practices.
• Manage supplier quality improvements, FAI approvals and parts qualification.
• Coordinate supplier selection, qualification, and periodic reviews/audits.

We’re looking to add a Senior Engineer, Supplier Quality in Singapore. The position is based in our Headquarters in Ang Mo Kio.

As a Senior Engineer, Supplier Quality you will:

Be responsible for ensuring incoming quality of purchased components. Working with suppliers to pursue continuous improvement program. Be involve in supplier selection, qualification and performance review. Act as point of contact for supplier quality issues. Provide leadership for IQC inspection team and develop and maintain IQC procedures and practices

The key roles and responsibilities are as below:

• Manage supplier to achieve consistent quality and defect-free incoming parts.
• Support global supply base in supplier selection and conduct periodic supplier reviews/audits.
• Manage suppliers’ quality improvement program, first article approval and parts qualification.
• Pursue continuous improvement programs with suppliers.
• Provide leadership role for inspection team.
• Prepare supplier performance scorecards and conduct supplier reviews.
• Develop and maintain incoming procedures.
• Support QMS/EMS team in internal audits.
• Actively participate in LEAN activities.

• Review and approve incoming parts’ first article reports.
• Review and disposition non-conforming incoming material.
• Issue SCAR to suppliers.
• Recommend disqualification of non-performing suppliers.

What skills and experiences are we looking for?

• Degree in Mechanical/Electronics/Electrical Engineering preferred.
• 3 years’ experience as SQE or IQC engineer in manufacturing environment.
• Knowledgeable in printed circuit board, plastic injection molding; metal stamping; casting & electronic parts.

• Familiar with SPC tools and LEAN tools

• Knowledge of SAP a plus.

• Willing to travel between AMK and Jurong site.
