Job summary

The Hong Kong Jockey Club is seeking a Senior Manager, Charities (Research Fellowship and Scholarship Management) to lead the development and delivery of STEM-related charitable initiatives, overseeing application frameworks, partner management, and program governance.

You will collaborate with universities, NGOs, and government partners to advance research and scholarship programs, monitor outcomes, and report to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• At least 10–12 years of relevant experience with 7 years in a senior role in welfare, education, youth development, or related charities.
• Extensive experience engaging with local and overseas higher education institutions, NGOs, and government bodies.
• Strong project and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive STEM-related projects under a structured application and selection framework and manage panel and partners.
• Oversee delivery of STEM projects with university partners, including lab applications and impact measurement.
• Develop a vibrant STEM talent community and facilitate cross-sector collaboration to boost project impact.
• Collaborate with TIPs and partners abroad to drive synergistic programming and events.
• Manage partnerships with government and sector stakeholders, ensuring governance and compliance.
• Monitor higher education, STEM, and talent needs locally and globally to inform strategy.
• Produce high-quality committee papers and board reports.
• Represent the Trust at ceremonies, stakeholder engagements, and project monitoring.
• Plan and oversee professional development for supporting team members.
