Job summary

Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust is seeking a senior professional to lead grant management and strategic initiatives within the Education & Youth Cluster of the Charities and Community Division. The role reports to the Head of Charities and fosters cross-sector collaboration to address metropolitan social issues.

The successful candidate will oversee funding applications, monitor project progress, and drive innovative community initiatives with government, NGOs, and academic partners in

Qualifications

• Minimum 10–12 years of relevant experience, with 7 years at a senior level.
• Extensive knowledge of one or several sectors under HKJC Charities Trust's funding ambit.
• Extensive experience dealing with government officials, district boards, academic bodies, and local foundations.
• Strong social policy analysis, project development, and management skills.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and assess funding applications from organisations (non-profits, tertiary institutions, govt depts).
• Ensure applications meet community needs and Trust policies.
• Develop and implement new initiatives and seek collaboration with govt and NGOs.
• Propose conditions for grantees and monitor spending; report on budget and progress.
• Represent the Trust at ceremonies, visits, and events; support monitoring and engagement.
• Lead development and implementation of strategies for greater social impact.
• Plan and oversee professional development of supporting staff.
• Lead or support cross-theme collaboration and cultural transformation initiatives.
