The Job
As part of the Healthy Community team of the Charities & Community Division, you will support the Senior Manager, Charities to:
- Assess and review donation applications' support-worthiness and make recommendations to Senior Charities Managers / Charities Managers on donation applications;
- Support Deputy Executive Managers / Senior Charities Managers in preparation and drafting of approval papers and annexes;
- Conduct research on social issues to support development of new projects or themes / issue strategies;
- Monitor approved projects to ensure they are implemented and completed according to schedule, pledged output and within the originally agreed scope and budget;
- Liaise with external partners and internal counterparts throughout different stages of project lifecycles;
- Support initiation, development, implementation planning of Trust-initiated Projects, Priority 1 Projects, and other significant special projects;
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and prepare presentation materials, speeches, miscellaneous papers;
About You
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent;
- 4 to 8 years’ relevant experience, preferably with exposure to NGOs, government, policy research, public or social service settings;
- Good communication and writing skills in both English and Chinese;
- Good interpersonal and teamwork skills;
- Passions, strong drive and career interest in charity work.
