Job summary

Octopus Holdings Limited, a Hong Kong FinTech pioneer, seeks a Manager to lead tourist product development and strategic partnerships. You will drive go-to-market initiatives, expand distribution channels, and grow inbound tourist business with cross-functional teams across marketing, product and sales.

The role requires 8+ years in business development, partnership management or product commercialization in payments or travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent.
• At least 8 years of relevant work experience for the Manager position in business development, channel development, partnership management, product commercialization, digital marketing/CRM or performance marketing, preferably in payments, tourism, travel or retail industries.
• Experience in developing strategic partnerships and business growth initiatives within travel, tourism, digital consumer, lifestyle or online platform ecosystems.
• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical skills and project management skills.

• Lead launch and development of tourist products including Tourist Mobile Octopus.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute business strategies and initiatives to grow OCL’s inbound tourist business and achieve agreed usage, revenue and profitability targets
• Lead the launch, commercialization and ongoing development of tourist products and related tourist payment solutions, including Tourist Mobile Octopus
• Drive tourist acquisition, activation and usage through effective product, marketing, sales and partnership initiatives
• Develop and expand sales and distribution channels for Tourist Octopus products and solutions
• Identify, establish and manage strategic partnerships with transport operators, airlines, travel platforms, tourism partners, retailers and other relevant channels
• Monitor business performance, customer behaviour and market trends, and recommend actions to capture growth opportunities and improve results
• Lead or support consumer card business initiatives, special Octopus projects and strategic collaborations as assigned
• Ensure assigned products, initiatives and partnerships comply with applicable regulatory requirements, internal policies and governance standards

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree inMarketing, Business Administration or equivalent
• At least 8 years of relevant work experience for the Manager position, in business development, channel development, partnership management, product commercialization, digital marketing/CRM or performance marketing, preferably in payments, tourism, travel or retail industries
• Proven experience in developing strategic partnerships and business growth initiatives within the travel, tourism, digital consumer, lifestyle or online platform ecosystem would be an advantage
• Proven experience in developing and implementing business growth, product commercialization or go-to-market strategies, preferably for payment or tourism-related initiatives
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and develop viable business opportunities
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret business and customer performance data
• Strong project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives from concept to launch
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
