• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate across levels.

Job Overview

We are seeking Senior Manager, Agency Performance management to join our Group Agency Distribution team.

Roles and responsibilities

Agency Business Management

• Coordinate tracking of Agency strategic imperatives and related performance drivers covering activity, productivity, agency cohort performance, recruitment, agency financing, compensation redesign, proposition and new business value generation, to conduct performance diagnosis, identify underlying root causes, and recommend areas for improvement.
• Partner effectively with other functional heads within Group to support the effective execution and delivery of Agency priorities in market, with timely and impactful performance insights and recommendations
• Support various Agency performance analysis and central business management activities, including but not limited to monthly business review, GEC / Board Updates, and external half year / annual disclosure and Q&A
• Support Agency ad hoc strategic projects to enable acceleration of Agency Quantum Leap execution in markets
• Collaborate closely with Group Agency functional heads and respective market leads to support the tracking and/or implementation of new initiatives on the ground
• Support the implementation of PruWay of Performance Management in market, by working closely with local business units and enforcing robust performance management cadence to facilitate disciplined and effective sales management activities

Strategy and Business Planning:

• Core member of the annual planning team within Group Agency, work effectively with Director of Agency Strategy and Performance Management, to consolidate, stress test and finalize Agency growth plan for the next 3 years
• Deep collaboration with LBUs to enable a dynamic methodology of strategic planning, and develop detailed bottom-up 3-year business plan for Agency
• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in business planning to enhance strategic decision-making.

Qualification and Experience

• Minimum of 8 years of experience within the insurance or financial services industry.
• Strong strategic and business acumen, relevant experience in business management and/or insurance distribution, preferably Agency distribution, in Asia
• Strong data analytics skills with ability to integrate and translate data into actionable insights with informative and meaningful analysis to facilitate performance dialogue and management decision
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast paced, rapidly changing work environment
• Effective team player with ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels and navigate ambiguity
