Job summary

TÜV SÜD Hong Kong Ltd. is seeking a dedicated laboratory professional to lead daily operations across Organic, Inorganic, or FCM sections.

You will supervise technical staff, optimize workflow, and ensure timely delivery of accurate test results in a dynamic, quality-focused environment. The ideal candidate holds a science-related degree, 5+ years lab experience, and familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 and related standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years working experience in testing laboratory
• Familiar with international standard methods, legal requirements and regulation
• Proficient in spoken and written English and Mandarin
• Experience in testing procedures in footwear/textile, food contact articles, toys, RoHS, or hardline testing

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations for the Organic, Inorganic, or FCM section—assigning work schedules, supervising technical staff, and resolving procedural or technical challenges to maximize workflow efficiency.
• Implement, maintain, and continuously improve the laboratory management system to meet ISO/IEC 17025 standards and external accreditation requirements (e.g., HOKLAS, CNAS, DAkkS, ZLS, CB).
• Maintain internal document control systems, enforce SOPs, and lead preparation for internal and external accreditation audits.
• Review test results, daily QC records, and final reports to ensure technical accuracy, quality, and on-time delivery within turnaround times.
• Oversee method development, modification, validation, and verification data, keeping testing innovation on schedule.
• Manage laboratory consumables, reagents, spare parts, equipment maintenance, calibration procedures, and vendor relations.
• Serve as the technical point of contact for Customer Service—handling complex inquiries and maintaining inter-departmental communication.
