Job summary

TÜV Rheinland Group is seeking experienced professionals to lead conformity assessments for product safety and quality across diverse categories. The role requires strong chemistry knowledge, a proactive mindset, and ability to navigate global chemical regulations.

You will coordinate testing strategies, analyze data, and prepare comprehensive reports while ensuring client satisfaction in a fast-paced lab environment in Hong Kong.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a commercial laboratory or testing services environment.
• Strong knowledge of global chemical regulations (EU, Germany, China, US, etc.).
• Familiarity with Food Contact Materials (FCM) requirements is an advantage.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and customer-facing experience.
• Proactive, mature, and professional with strong MS Office skills.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).

Responsibilities

• Acts as technical expert within the project.
• Defines the testing basis, testing programs and plans.
• Analyses test data and interprets test results.
• Ensures that test results meet the requirements.
• Prepares test report.
• Communicates and coordinates with other internal and external labs for testing support if necessary.
• Might support sales in calculating costs and capacities.
• Might attend other external or internal events to provide technical expertise.
• Other duties as assigned.
