UL Solutions is seeking a Lab Technician in Hong Kong to set up and adapt unique test equipment for complex tests, apply knowledge of test requirements, and perform tests using general laboratory equipment. You will examine samples, read instruments, interpret blueprints, and report data to supervisors while maintaining a clean work area and adhering to safety practices.

You will collaborate with engineers and lab staff, analyze results, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Demonstrated creativity and innovation in testing environments.
• Desire to work in a team-oriented setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and adapt unique test equipment for complex tests using independent judgment.
• Apply knowledge of test requirements and perform tests with general lab equipment.
• Perform routine care of designated test equipment and work area.
• Examine test samples, read instruments and review data with supervisor.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and instructions.
• Consult with engineers or lab technicians as needed.
• Analyze test results.
• Operate designated lab equipment and tools as directed.
• Prepare data sheets and record observed or calculated results.
• Follow the UL Code of Conduct and security practices.
