Job summary

Bank of Singapore is seeking a Senior IT Support Engineer to act as a technical SME within the Application Services team for Wealth Management users, ensuring production stability and incident management. The role requires collaboration with Front Office stakeholders and execution of risk-aware change delivery.

Responsibilities include resolving L1/L2 incidents, supporting daily batches, and driving automation and continuous improvement across systems and platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years in application technologies in Banking and Financial Services.
• Hands-on experience with Java/J2EE, .NET, Python and modern web development frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive support for BOS staff, ensuring seamless business processes and system functionality.
• Develop understanding of end-to-end banking processes and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Resolve production incidents, perform problem management and drive root-cause analysis.
• Propose automation for recurring issues and minimize Level 1/2 incidents.
• Provide on-call and on-site support on a rotational basis, including after-hours.
• Contribute to release management, testing of fixes, and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with Architecture teams to ensure robust designs and data integrity.
• Prepare training materials and conduct knowledge sharing across the team.
• Monitor risk status and effectiveness of mitigation measures.
