Job summary

The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) Digital Learning Department seeks an Educational Designer to advance pedagogy across e-learning initiatives. You will advise on CANVAS usage, AI tools, and blended/immersive learning to empower teaching and student engagement.

You will lead professional development for staff, create learning resources, and manage projects ensuring high quality outcomes and alignment with institutional goals.

Qualifications

• Recognised degree in a relevant subject area/discipline.
• 3+ years post-qualification experience in managing educational projects and e-learning at tertiary level.
• Experience delivering PD for academic staff and coordinating student activities across learning areas such as AI-enhanced pedagogy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pedagogical developments of Digital Learning’s work.
• Support academic staff in effective use of CANVAS LMS and AI tools.
• Lead blended and immersive learning initiatives and funded projects.
• Provide professional development activities for staff and learners.
• Ensure quality assurance across learning materials and delivery.
