Job summary

uMax Data Technology is seeking a data storytelling professional to partner with clients, turning social insights into strategic business actions. The role blends analytics, client advisory, and thought leadership to showcase AI and Big Data capabilities.

You will translate market observations into compelling narratives, train clients on AI tools, and contribute to content that drives engagement and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, social science, marketing, or language-related fields.
• Strong command of written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).
• Knowledge in social listening, data analytics, or generative AI tools is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Unlock Social Insights: derive high-impact insights from our data mining tools and show how our platform tracks trends and opportunities.
• Lead Client Success & Advisory: deliver deep-dive analytical reports and training to maximize client value of AI tools.
• Drive Business Growth: craft thought leadership content, proposals, and case studies to demonstrate capabilities.
• Bridge Product & Market: provide user feedback and market observations to support AI/data platform enhancements.

What you’ll be doing

Positioning yourself as a strategic partner to our clients, you will:

Unlock Social Insights (Insight & Strategy): Leverage our proprietary internet data mining tools to derive high-impact insights. You won't just present data; you will showcase how our platform identifies risks, tracks trends, and uncovers market opportunities through real-world cases.

Lead Client Success & Advisory: Go beyond standard reporting. Deliver deep-dive analytical reports and industry projects that guide clients’ decision-making. Provide expert training and consultation to ensure clients maximize the value of our AI tools.

Drive Business Growth (BD Support): Act as the content engine for our business development. Brainstorm and craft thought leadership content, proposals, and case studies that demonstrate our expertise and "Winning" capabilities to prospective clients.

Bridge Product & Market: Work closely with the product team by providing user feedback and market observations, directly supporting the enhancement of our AI and data excellence.

Who you are

We are looking for a logical thinker with a storyteller’s soul:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Social Science, Marketing, or Language-related disciplines.
• The "Insight" Factor: A news junkie with a high sensitivity to current social issues, public sentiment, and market figures. You know what makes the internet "tick."
• Skills: Exceptional command of written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin). You possess strong analytical skills and the ability to translate logic into persuasive copy.
• Tech-Savvy: Knowledge in social listening, data analytics, or generative AI tools is a strong advantage.
• Mindset: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. You have high integrity and a passion for new technology.
