Job summary

KOS International Limited is seeking a Customer Analytics & Data Science Manager with an AI focus for its banking business in Hong Kong. You will lead analytics and AI initiatives, translate business needs into technical solutions, and drive model development under regulatory requirements.

The role requires 4+ years in analytics/AI with at least 1 year in management, industry experience preferred, and strong English/Chinese communication.

Qualifications

• 4 years' analytics, modelling and AI/ML experience, including at least 1 year in a managerial role.
• Experience in Banking/FinTech preferred.
• Knowledge of embedding techniques, RAG, prompting and LLM fine-tuning; experience with search/recommendation systems is a plus.
• Strong business sense and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

• Explore and create strategic solutions and actionable recommendations for the personal banking business by leveraging emerging AI technologies (e.g. Generative & Agentic AI, Reinforcement Learning, Machine Learning)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions
• Develop and refine AI models to meet business objectives and regulatory requirements
• Identify and evaluate suitable AI vendors for specific use cases, managing escalations to ensure deliverables and timelines are met with excellence.
• Proactively identify new business opportunities and targeting strategies powered by AI technology advancements
• Highly sensitive to the latest AI trend

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Degree or above with major in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems or related discipline
• 4 years' experience relating to analytics, modelling and machine learning/AI/Generative AI, at least 1 years of which at managerial level
• Experience in Banking, Financial Services or FinTech industry preferred
• Experience and knowledge in embedding techniques, RAG, promptings and LLM fine-tuning, involvement in search engine or recommendation system is a plus
• Experience in machine learning model/AI/Generative AI related risk and control governance is a plus
• A mature self-starter with strong drive, motivation, committed with good business sense and strong understanding of the personal banking market
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with excellent written and spoken English and Chinese, knowledge of Mandarin would be a definite advantage
• Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior Customer Analytics & Data Science Manager
