Job summary

Nanyang Commercial Bank, Limited is seeking a Senior Manager - Admin & HR to lead a team delivering comprehensive HR services in Hong Kong. You will ensure regulatory compliance, internal controls, and statutory obligations while driving payroll, leave management, records, benefits, and workplace safety.

You will oversee employee licenses, reporting requirements, and partner with stakeholders across departments to optimize processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration or related field.
• Minimum 10 years HR experience in banking/financial institutions.
• At least 3 years in a managerial role.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head of HR Services Division to lead and manage a team delivering comprehensive HR services; ensure compliance and internal controls.
• Oversee delivery of HR services including payroll, leave management, employee records, benefits, and workplace safety.
• Oversee licenses management and compliance with statutory reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to drive process improvements and innovation.
• Navigate organizational change, data analysis, risk assessment and decision-making in complex scenarios.

Job description

Assist the Head of Human Resources Services Division to lead and manage a team to deliver comprehensive HR services to the bank, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, internal controls, and statutory obligations;

Ensure seamless delivery of HR services, including payroll, leave management, employee records, benefits administration, and workplace safety;

Oversee the management of employee licenses and compliance with statutory reporting requirements.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field;

Minimum 10 years of experience in HR within banking or financial institutions, including 3 years in a managerial role;

Proven expertise in payroll, benefits administration, and HR compliance;

Deep understanding of Hong Kong employment laws, banking regulations, and internal control frameworks;

Strong leadership skills to drive team performance and innovation; ability to navigate organizational change;

Proficiency in data analysis, risk assessment, and decision-making under complex scenarios;

Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to engage stakeholders across departments;

Proficiency in both written and spoken English, Chinese and Putonghua.
