Job summary

Café de Coral Group Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Human Resource Officer (C&B focus) to independently manage payroll, MPF, and tax matters, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HK laws.

You will maintain HRMS data, prepare salaries and letters, support annual salary reviews, and participate in HR projects and system enhancements.

Excellent command of English and Chinese, 3–5 years' HR/payroll experience, and knowledge of IRD, MPF, and HK Employment Ordinance are essential.

Qualifications

  • Degree/Diploma in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of HR and payroll experience.
  • Well-versed in eMPF practices and arrangements is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage the monthly payroll process and final payment calculations.
  • Perform payroll reconciliation and ensure payroll calculations comply with company policies and statutory requirements.
  • Calculate leave pay, long service payments, and other termination-related entitlements.
  • Support annual salary review and bonus exercises, and prepare related documentation and letters.

  • Prepare employment-related documents including promotion letters and salary adjustment letters.
  • Administer MPF contributions and taxation matters, and prepare IR56 forms.
  • Prepare reports for management review and respond to payroll inquiries.
  • Participate in HR projects and system enhancements.

Job description

To cope with our business needs, we invite high calibre professional to fill the following position:-

Senior Human Resource Officer (C&B focus)
Job Responsibilities

Independently manage the monthly payroll process and final payment calculations, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.

Perform payroll reconciliation and ensure payroll calculations comply with company policies and statutory requirements.

Calculate leave pay, long service payments, and other termination-related entitlements.

Support annual salary review and bonus exercises, and prepare the related documentation and letters.

Maintain and update employee personal and employment records in the HRMS.

Prepare and issue employment-related documents, including promotion letters, salary adjustment letters, and termination letters.

Administer MPF contributions and taxation matters, and prepare IR56 forms (IR56B, IR56E, IR56F, and IR56G).

Manage and maintain HRMS and payroll systems, preferably IPL HRMS, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

Prepare reports, including payroll, headcount, and other HR-related reports, for management review.

Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, taxation, benefits, and employment-related matters.

Participate in HR projects, system enhancements, UAT testing, and process improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements

Degree/ Diploma in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related discipline.

Minimum 3 to 5 years of HR and payroll experience.

Well-versed in eMPF practices and arrangements is an advantage.

Proven ability to independently handle full-cycle payroll processing with minimal supervision.

Solid experience in payroll administration, staff movement processing, and HR operations.

Well-versed in the Hong Kong Employment Ordinance and related statutory regulations.

Experience in handling Long Service Payment subsidy claims is highly preferred.

Familiar with MPF administration, payroll taxation, and Inland Revenue Department (IRD) requirements.

Hands-on experience in HRIS and payroll systems management, preferably IPL HRMS.

Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility, accuracy, and confidentiality.

Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
