Job summary

Well Link Financial Group in Hong Kong is seeking a hands-on HR professional focused on end-to-end payroll, MPF, and HR operations. You will ensure compliance with the Hong Kong Employment Ordinance and support the HR Director in risk management.

The role covers C&B, attendance auditing, HRIS maintenance, recruitment, and data privacy, with supervision of junior staff and close collaboration with Compliance. Immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of comprehensive HR experience in Hong Kong, with at least 3 years in C&B and HR operations.
• Hands-on payroll processing, MPF administration, and benefits management.
• Solid knowledge of Hong Kong Employment Ordinance and privacy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end payroll processing monthly.
• Administer MPF and medical/group insurance programs.
• Perform statutory calculations for annual and leave entitlements.
• Process final payments and IRD tax forms where applicable.
• Audit attendance, manage leave deductions and OT adjustments.
• Maintain HRIS data and reconcile payroll systems monthly.
• Lead recruitment cycle and exit processes including interviews.
• Ensure data privacy compliance under PDPO and monitor regulatory updates.

Job description

A hands-on role focusing on end-to-end payroll, MPF, and HR operations. The candidate will ensure full compliance with the Hong Kong Employment Ordinance and assist the HR Director in managing operational risks.

Job Duties

1. C&B & HR Operations (Hands-on)

Payroll & Benefits: Handle monthly end-to-end payroll processing, MPF administration, and medical/group insurance.

Statutory Calculations: Execute accurate ADW/AMW calculations for annual leave, sick leave, and maternity leave.

Tax & Termination: Process final payments (accrued leave, severance, and long service payments) and submit IRD tax forms (IR56B/E/F/G).

Attendance Management: Audit daily attendance records and execute leave deductions/OT adjustments.

HRIS Maintenance: Maintain master data and perform monthly reconciliation between attendance and payroll systems.

Talent Acquisition: Manage full recruitment cycle and offboarding procedures (including exit interviews).

Data Privacy: Administer employee records in compliance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.

Monitor updates in Hong Kong Employment Ordinance and related labor regulations.

Provide written impact analysis and operational advice to the HR Director.

Support internal audits and regulatory inquiries from the Compliance Department.

3. Team Supervision

Supervise, assign, and review the daily work of the Assistant HR Officer.

Enforce a dual-review mechanism.

Job Requirements

Experience: 5 to 7 years of comprehensive HR experience in Hong Kong, with at least 3 years specializing in Compensation & Benefits (C&B) and HR operations.

• C&B Core Competency: Proven track record of independently handling full-cycle payroll processing and MPF administration from scratch.


• Legal Knowledge: Well-versed in the Hong Kong Employment Ordinance and relevant regulations, with hands- on experience.


• Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Excel and mainstream HRIS, payroll, and time & attendance systems.


• Language Proficiency: Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese; fluent in Cantonese and Putonghua.


• Attributes: High level of integrity, meticulous attention to detail, strong accuracy, and exceptional confidentiality mindset; ability to work independently under the guidance of the HR Director.


• Preferred Qualification: Experience in supervising junior staff is preferred; prior HR experience in a licensed corporation (Securities / Asset Management / Financial Services) is highly advantageous.


• Availability: Immediate availability or short notice is highly preferred.
