Job summary

Randstad Hong Kong Limited is seeking an experienced Workday Configuration and Administration professional. The role focuses on stabilising and enhancing Workday, building dashboards, and ensuring governance in line with HK Ordinance.

You will engage with HR and technical teams to translate requirements into functional specs and drive data-informed decisions. The ideal candidate has 4–6 years of hands-on Workday experience, strong reporting skills, and a solid understanding of Hong Kong

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of hands-on Workday configuration and administration in enterprise environments.
• Proven track record in post‑go‑live enhancement or Workday implementations.
• Strong knowledge of Workday modules, custom reporting, calculated fields, and dashboards.
• Solid understanding of Hong Kong Employment Ordinance and local compliance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented skills.
• Clear, confident English communication with technical and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR Project Manager to stabilise Workday and drive enhancements.
• Perform process health checks for Hiring, Onboarding, Leave to remove bottlenecks.
• Configure Workday modules to improve governance and user experience.
• Translate business requirements into functional Workday specs.
• Create interactive dashboards and reports for leadership decision-making.
• Set up Tier 2 support triage for issues and tickets.
• Lead end-to-end testing for updates and integrations.
• Oversee Workday HCMS to PeopleSoft Payroll integrations and enhancements.
• Maintain data integrity via audits and migrations.
• Ensure configurations align with governance and HK Employment Ordinance.

• Partner with the HR Project Manager to support system stabilisation, process optimisation, and ongoing Workday enhancement initiatives.

• Conduct process health checks across core HR functions (e.g., Hiring, Onboarding, Leave) to eliminate bottlenecks and manual workarounds.

• Review, refine, and configure Workday modules to improve operational governance, system efficiency, and overall user experience.

• Gather business requirements from internal stakeholders and translate them into functional Workday system specifications.

• Build and deliver interactive dashboards, custom reports, and workforce analytics to drive data-informed decision-making for leadership.

• Establish and manage a Tier 2 support triage process to troubleshoot user issues, configuration errors, and day-to-day tickets.

• Lead end-to-end testing cycles for system updates, new features, and integrations.

• Oversee technical enhancements and integration maintenance between Workday HCMS and PeopleSoft Payroll.

• Maintain data integrity by conducting routine audits, deduplicating records, and ensuring accurate historical data migration.

• Ensure all system configurations and HR processes align with internal governance standards and the Hong Kong Employment Ordinance.

• 4–6 years of hands‑on Workday configuration and administration experience in an enterprise environment.

• Proven track record in post-go-live enhancement, system stabilisation, or Workday implementation projects.

• Strong technical proficiency in Workday modules, custom reporting, calculated fields, and dashboard creation.

• Strong working knowledge of local statutory requirements, specifically the Hong Kong Employment Ordinance.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and process‑mapping skills with keen attention to detail.

• Confident communication skills in English to engage effectively with both technical teams and non-technical business leaders.
