Job summary

Shangri-La Group is seeking a Senior Security Officer at Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong, to oversee access control, patrols, and emergency response, ensuring a safe and secure environment in line with Shangri-La’s standards.

Residence in Hong Kong and a Hong Kong Security Personnel Permit are required, with a focus on professional presentation and guest safety. This role is based at Island Shangri-La, a flagship hotel offering luxury services and guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the hotel industry.
• Good command of spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Possession of Hong Kong Security Personnel Permit.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for access control and patrols.
• Response to emergency events according to standard safety procedures.
• Maintain hotel security and protect safety and assets of all hotel guests, visitors, employees.
• Project a professional, efficient and reassuring image to all hotel guests, visitors and employees.
