Job summary

Tencent is expanding its WeChat Pay operations globally. We are seeking a proactive professional in Hong Kong to support business operations, market research, and partner collaboration with HQ and international stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication, project management, and self-motivation, with familiarity of the WeChat ecosystem. This role focuses on driving partnerships, on-site deployments, and data-driven insights in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication in Chinese and English to liaise with HQ and international stakeholders.
• Strong project management and ability to deliver high-quality reports.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and manage tasks.
• Familiarity with the WeChat/WeChat Pay product ecosystem and payments operations.

Responsibilities

• Business Operations: Collaborate with BD to strengthen customer relations and explore business opportunities; facilitate cooperation with KA merchants or institutions regarding access, materials, and activities.
• Market Research: conduct store inspections, monitor market dynamics, and perform user research to gauge penetration and experience.
• Material Deployment: arrange on-site material deployment where needed.
• Business Communication: assist in communicating product updates and opportunities with merchants, banks, fintechs, government, and other partners.
• Collaboration Exploration: forge partnerships to drive user community marketing and observe consumption in situ within the WeChat ecosystem.
