Job summary

BGC Group is seeking an experienced Equity Sales professional in Hong Kong to lead the firm’s Equity Financing and TRS initiatives across APAC. The role requires deep market knowledge, an established APAC client network, and the ability to generate revenue by expanding client relationships and introducing TRS and equity financing solutions to wholesale market participants.

Fluent English is required; Mandarin and/or Cantonese are a plus.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' experience within Equity Financing, Equity Sales, TRS Sales or related revenue role.
• Strong understanding of Equity Financing products including TRS.
• Established APAC client network with ability to generate revenue.

Title: Equity Sales

Role Summary:

BGC is seeking a highly experienced Equity Sales professional with expertise in Total Return Swaps (TRS) and equity financing solutions. The successful candidate will possess strong market knowledge and experience, together with established and portable client relationships. This individual will play a key role in driving revenue growth, expanding BGC's client franchise and developing new business opportunities across APAC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and expand BGC's Equity Financing and TRS business across the Asia Pacific region.
• Leverage existing client relationships to identify new business opportunities and deepen market penetration.
• Provide clients with market insight and solutions across Equity Financing and Total Return Swap (TRS) products.
• Maintain close engagement with key market participants to understand client flows, trading activity and market developments.
• Build on existing relationships whilst developing new client connections across APAC markets.
• Stay abreast of market trends and competitive developments to identify opportunities for business growth.
• Partner effectively with external clients and internal stakeholders to deliver commercial outcomes.
• Work closely with relevant teams to ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are met.

Requirements:

• 8+ years' experience within Equity Financing, Equity Sales, TRS Sales or a related money-generating role.
• Strong understanding of Equity Financing products, including Total Return Swaps (TRS).
• In-depth knowledge and experience across APAC equity markets, client flows and market participants.
• Established network of clients and key market participants across the APAC region, with demonstrated ability to leverage portable relationships to drive business growth.
• Proven ability to develop new business opportunities and generate revenue through client engagement and relationship management.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and revenue-driven environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent communication in English is required. Mandarin and/or Cantonese is a plus.
