Our client has a strong track record of delivering creative engineering solutions, R&D insights, manufacturing and original engineering. To cope with continues growth they are now urgently looking for aSenior Finance Manager to join the team in Hong Kong

Job Description

• Responsible for monthly consolidation and commentary of operating results of the Group for board review
• Review statutory and management financial statements of subsidiaries in accordance with corporate accounting and reporting requirements
• Responsible for annual, interim, quarterly reports and results announcements
• Assist preparation of budget and forecast and working capital forecast
• Contribute and oversee general finance operations including, accounts payable/receivable and credit control, inter-company transactions
• Develop and maintain proper internal control policies and procedures on financial, operation, accounting system and functions for the Group and its operating subsidiaries
• Assist Controller in cash management Participate process enhancement and tax project
• Provide on-job training to the Reporting Teams of HK and PRC offices Work closely with and advise other departments on finance-related matters, and support the continuous improvement of workflow and procedures.
• Liaise with internal auditors, external auditors and other financial advisors. Supervise and maintain statutory books and records.

Job Requirements

• Degree holder or above in related disciplines with professional qualifications
• At least 8 years’ experience in finance and accounting preferred with minimum 4 years’ in group consolidation and financial reporting, especially in listed companies. Previous audit experience will be an advantage.
• Previous experience in manufacturing industry preferred
• Experience with ERP systems including manufacturing and costing
• Solid understanding of the listing rules, strong technical accounting and familiar with Hong Kong and PRC accounting standards, taxation, Customs, legal and government regulations and practices, track record of handling consolidations is a must
• Strong analytical, data mining and problem solving skills. Familiar with Excel and sensitive with number and formulas
• Excellent coordination, supervisory and management skills
• Excellent in communication and presentation, with good fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
