Elliott Scott HR Recruitment Ltd is assisting a sizable overseas-listed corporation with a small Hong Kong office in their search for a Finance Manager to lead the Group finance team. You will manage monthly consolidations, coordinate interim and annual results announcements, and support IPO/spin-off projects, driving budgets and forecasts across group entities.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, HKICPA/ACCA or equivalent, 4+ years of consolidation experience, IFRS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Professional HKICPA/ACCA or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of financial consolidation experience in listed groups.
• Experience with IFRS and multi-subsidiary consolidations.
• Strong month-end closing and internal controls knowledge.
• Excellent English and Chinese communication.

Our client is a sizable corporation listed overseas with a small office in Hong Kong, they are looking for a Finance Manager to join their Group finance team.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidation processes while producing accurate accounting schedules and group reporting packages
• Coordinate the preparation of interim and annual results announcements across group entities
• Develop financial budgets, operational performance analyses, and consolidated forecasts to support business decision-making
• Act as the key contact point for external auditors, banking partners, and internal group entities during audit and operational reviews
• Oversaw tax filing procedures and ensure compliance with relevant statutory regulations
• Execute ad-hoc financial projects and analysis as required by management
• Assistant in IPO/ Spin off project

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Professional qualification as a member of HKICPA, ACCA, or an equivalent accounting body
• Minimum 4 years of financial consolidation experience, preferably gained within listed groups; Listed co experience in HK/ US/ JP/ SG/ EU are open
• Strong technical expertise in manual multi-subsidiary consolidations and comprehensive knowledge of IFRS
• Solid grasp of month-end closing cycles and internal control frameworks
• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English and Chinese
