M+ in Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Production Officer to assist in planning, coordinating, and executing museum special events. The role involves drafting floor plans in AutoCAD, coordinating with internal and external partners, and supporting stage management, lighting, sound, and logistics in a fast-paced environment.

You will ensure safety compliance, prepare vendor documentation, and assist with event administration and reports.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Theatre Production, Arts Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2-3 years in event production and performances.

Aufgaben

• Assist in planning, coordination, and execution of special events at the museum.
• Read and interpret drawings, floor plans, and stage layouts.
• Draft and modify floor plans using AutoCAD to meet safety and artistic requirements.
• Liaise with internal departments and external partners to coordinate logistics, safety, and technical requirements.
• Support stage management, setup, and rehearsals.
• Ensure production elements (sound, lighting, AV, props) are in place and operational.
• Gather technical requirements for workshops and F&B partners; plan queue lines; ensure accessibility.
• Comply with safety regulations, fire codes, accessibility standards, and evacuation requirements.
• Consolidate vendor information for registration, assist with event administration and payment processing; maintain production schedules and prepare reports.
