Job summary

Global Sports Jobs Limited is seeking a Senior Enterprise Risk Manager to lead the development and ongoing enhancement of the Club's Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF). You will drive governance across the Three Lines of Defence, support risk reporting to Audit Committee and Board, and work with senior leaders to implement KPI-aligned objectives and risk controls.

You will analyze strategic, operational, financial and compliance risks, use data-driven methods, and build a capable team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's and/or postgraduate degree from a highly accredited university in engineering, mathematics, business, accounting, or a similar discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of ERM experience in sizeable corporations.
• Understanding of industry best practices and trends on governance, risk and internal control.
• Experience of delivering Enterprise Risk Management frameworks from inception.
• Extensive knowledge of multiple risk types such as strategic, operations, financial, people or compliance risks.
• Understanding of data analytics and data visualisation techniques.
• Ability to effectively lead and manage complex risk management projects.
• Ability to write concise risk reports with clarity and precision that provide persuasive recommendations evidenced with data and analysis.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Club's Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF).
• Support and communicate the Three Lines of Defence Operating Model across the business.
• Support and facilitate enterprise risk reporting and monitoring to Audit Committee and Board.
• Drive divisional rollout of ERM Framework with Senior Divisional leadership.
• Facilitate objective setting and KPI alignment to Club's Purpose.
• Evaluate enterprise risks and set tolerance levels using data-driven approaches.
• Engage stakeholders and resource mitigation measures for enterprise risks.
• Monitor and report on enterprise risk changes with early warnings.
• Lead periodic risk assessments and drive data-driven improvements.
• Collaborate with other functions to share information and enhance risk maturity.
• Coach and mentor ERM team members to high performance.
