Job summary

Bond West Consultants is seeking a capable IT support professional to provide deskside and remote support for end-users. You will manage hardware issues, maintain asset inventories, and contribute to knowledge bases while ensuring security and best practices are followed.

The role requires Windows 10/11 and macOS proficiency, MS Office skills, and strong communication in English and Cantonese. You will collaborate on IT infrastructure projects and support patch updates and monitoring activities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in IT support roles, with a strong preference for deskside or end-user computing support.
• Proven track record in hardware troubleshooting and repair for PCs, laptops, and peripherals.
• Solid experience in Windows 10/11 and macOS setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and common business productivity applications.
• Experience in providing application support following standard operating procedures or documentation.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP networking, Ethernet, Wi‑Fi, routers, switches, and basic network troubleshooting.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Cantonese

Responsibilities

• Provide deskside and remote technical support to end-users by troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and handheld device issues promptly
• Maintain accurate IT asset inventory records, perform preventive maintenance, and contribute to documentation and the knowledge base for recurring issues
• Adhere to IT security policies, compliance standards, and best practices
• Assist with user PC patch updates, onsite hardware replacement, mobile device management, and network monitoring as required
• Build and deploy Windows System images using Windows Deployment Services
• Collaborate on and contribute to various IT infrastructure and technology-related projects
