Job summary

Leadingnation in Hong Kong is seeking a senior ECM professional to lead syndication for HK IPOs, follow-ons, convertibles and private placements. You will build institutional networks and coordinate end-to-end deal execution from launch to closing.

You will monitor market trends in HK, mainland China and global markets, design syndication strategies, and support senior leadership in investor relations. English and Chinese proficiency is required; frequent travel expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in finance, economics, marketing, or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in ECM syndication, corporate IR, or institutional sales at securities firms.
• Established network of institutional investor relationships.
• In-depth knowledge of HK and international market regulations, with familiarity in deal execution processes.
• Strong sales channel development and client relationship management skills.
• Holder of SFC Type 1 (Dealing in Securities) RO license.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese).
• Willingness to travel frequently for roadshows and investor meetings.
• Adaptability to high-intensity, fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute syndication work for equity capital market transactions, including HK IPOs, follow-on offerings, convertible bonds, and private placements; develop and implement syndication strategies.
• Develop and maintain institutional client networks (including international banks, mutual funds, sovereign wealth funds, private equity funds, and corporate investment divisions).
• Monitor and analyze market trends in Hong Kong, mainland China, and global markets to identify business opportunities and provide clients with professional sales solutions.
• Participate in cross-border project pitches and design innovative sales service solutions.
• Coordinate internal and external resources to oversee end-to-end deal execution from launch to closing.
• Formulate issuance strategies and lead key pricing and allocation processes.
• Support senior management in maintaining relationships with investors, investees, and business partners.
