Job summary

Selby Jennings is seeking experienced ECM professionals to join its regional team in Hong Kong. The role spans Associate to VP levels and offers exposure to a robust equity fundraising pipeline across Hong Kong and Greater China.

You will execute IPOs, placements, and rights issues while supporting origination efforts, maintaining issuer relationships, and coordinating with syndicate and legal teams through deal lifecycles. Fluency in English and Chinese is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–15 years of ECM experience.
• Strong ECM execution experience with exposure to live transactions.
• Proven origination and client coverage capabilities.
• Good understanding of Hong Kong and regional capital markets.
• Strong analytical, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English and Chinese preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute ECM transactions including IPOs, placements, rights issues, and follow-on offerings.
• Support mandate origination and business development efforts.
• Maintain relationships with corporate issuers, sponsors, and institutional investors.
• Prepare pitchbooks, market analyses, valuation materials, and transaction documentation.
• Work closely with syndicate, coverage, legal, and execution teams throughout deal lifecycles.
