Job summary

The Hong Kong Jockey Club invites an experienced Facilities Supervisor to join our Catering Department and clubhouse operations in Hong Kong. You will supervise technicians, oversee electrical, HVAC, plumbing and building systems, and ensure preventive maintenance and timely repairs across multiple facilities.

You will monitor contractors, manage inventories, prepare cost estimates, and report progress to the manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in facilities management, hotel, clubhouse or hospitality engineering.
• Holder of Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker Grade A.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience leading a team of technicians.
• Solid knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire services and building systems.
• Good troubleshooting, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to work on rotating shifts and attend emergency call-outs when required.
• Proficient in English and Chinese (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Ensure periodical inspection is conducted around the Clubhouse to identify problems and take necessary follow-up actions.
• Supervise a team of Technicians and perform skilled facility maintenance and repair work for HVAC, electrical, plumbing and building finishes.
• Inspect and diagnose faults, troubleshoot and estimate repair costs beyond capability.
• Maintain documentation of time and materials charged to each job; provide status reports to the manager.
• Keep stock of tools, equipment and spare parts; advise on shortages or replacements.
• Implement preventive maintenance to minimize disruption of mechanical services.
• Monitor contractor work and ensure compliance with standards; advise manager on issues.
• 5-day work, on shifts; 1-year contract.
