Job summary

The Hong Kong Jockey Club is seeking a seasoned facilities operations leader to oversee daily services across clubhouses, racecourses, and OCBBs. You will supervise teams, ensure outstanding member and guest experiences, and drive maintenance and safety programs in upscale environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Recreation Management, Hospitality Management, Building Services, Engineering, or a related field).
• 5–10 years of experience in hospitality or facilities management, especially upscale environments.
• 2–5 years of supervisory or managerial experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of facilities and services, ensuring quality standards and exceptional member/guest experiences.
• Lead staff to achieve business and customer service objectives while adhering to safety regulations and statutory requirements.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to keep facilities in good condition and reduce downtime.
• Monitor and analyze operational performance, including safety audits and inspections, ensuring compliance with legal and club standards.
• Solicit member feedback and use it to drive continuous improvements in services and programs.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination in achieving operational goals.
• Manage departmental budgets, ensuring prudent cost allocation and financial performance.
• Ensure all facilities are inspected regularly to maintain cleanliness, comfort, and safety standards.
• Assist in developing and implementing safety policies, procedures, and operational improvement guidelines.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned by the line manager.
